Annual Meeting Format
The Club meets once a year, in February, at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial Building. The address is Shooters’ Hill, 101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, VA (703-683-2007), and meetings are held in the North Lodge Room. A cover and stamp exchange typically starts around 1:30 p.m. The Annual Meeting follows at 2:00 p.m., including conferral of the Master of Philately for members who have not yet received it. If you are not yet a member, there is an excellent chance you can be voted in that afternoon. GWMSC life membership is $20, with no additional fee for the Master of Philately.
After the Meeting
Following the meeting, members, friends, and family traditionally gather for dinner at a nearby restaurant close to Shooter’s Hill; ladies and guests are invited. For questions, to confirm attendance, or if you’d like to receive the Master of Philately, contact any GWMSC officer in advance.
