Getting to the Memorial
We are located at 101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22301.
Memorial personnel can direct you to which room the meeting is in.
By Car
The Memorial is near the Telegraph Road exit off of the Capital Beltway (I-495). You can see it from the highway.
Heading east on I-495 E/I-95 N
- Use the middle lane to take exit 176B to merge onto VA-241 N/Telegraph Rd toward Alexandria.
- Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right to merge onto VA-236 E/Duke St toward Downtown/Alexandria.
- Follow Callahan Dr to Masonic Temple Driveway.
- Turn left onto Callahan Dr.
- Turn left onto Masonic Temple Driveway.
Heading west on I-495 W/I-95 S
- Use the 2nd from the right lane to take exit 176B to merge onto VA-241 N/Telegraph Rd toward Alexandria.
- Take VA-236 E/Duke St to Callahan Dr.
- Merge onto VA-241 N/Telegraph Rd.
- Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right to merge onto VA-236 E/Duke St toward Downtown/Alexandria.
- Follow Callahan Dr to Masonic Temple Driveway.
- Turn left onto Callahan Dr.
- Turn left onto Masonic Temple Driveway.
- Turn left to stay on Masonic Temple Driveway.
By the DC Metro System
The King Street Metro Station is within walking distance of the Memorial. The Yellow and Blue lines serve this station, providing easy access from the District of Columbia. The King Street Metro also connects to the free King Street Trolley, as well as several WMATA and DASH bus lines.
By Bus
The Memorial is near the routes of numerous DASH bus lines: AT2 (red), AT5 (yellow), AT7 (purple), and AT8 (pink). For more information, visit the DASH bus website.

By Amtrak
Take Amtrak to Alexandria Union Station. The Memorial is across the street to the west.
By Virginia Railway Express (VRE)
Take the VRE to Alexandria Union Station. The Memorial is across the street to the west.
Parking for Museum Guests
Daytime parking is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Up to 200 parking spaces are available.
It’s usually best to park in the north parking lot. Cross in front of the building and follow it around to the left. There, you’ll see a side entrance. That entrance is closest to our meeting room.
